The Role
We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to fuel our growth and strengthen our customer relationships. You’ll identify new business opportunities, manage key accounts, and help customers get maximum value from our services. This role is vital to driving the success and growth of Cloud++ in the competitive IT services market. If you're a self-starter with a strong sales background and a passion for IT services, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
What you’ll do
- Spot and convert new business opportunities in the Dutch market
- Build and execute opportunities to grow customer relationships
- Pitch Cloud++ services and solutions with impact
- Manage customer journeys/experience from first contact to delivery
- Drive upsell/cross-sell opportunities
- Collaborate with Sales & Delivery teams for seamless execution
- Stay on top of market trends and competitor activity
What you bring
- Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in IT services
- Strong communication, consultative selling, and relationship skills
- Native-level Dutch and strong English (written & spoken)
- Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into solutions
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- Eligibility for a Dutch VOG (certificate of conduct)
What you need
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills — confident communicator with C-level and senior business leaders.
- Proven success in B2B sales, with a strong track record of generating new business and closing deals.
- Proven talent for spotting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities — with a strong drive to hit targets.
- Solid grasp of the IT services landscape and confidence to engage decision-makers at every level.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on delivering impact and exceeding goals.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and sound decision-making under pressure.
- Detail-oriented and able to clearly communicate the value of technology and services to customers.
- Strong consultative approach — you understand customer needs and translate them into smart, high-impact solutions.
