Challenge


Traksi is a young and dynamic insurance company with a mission to make insurance smarter and more customer-friendly.

Their vision: by leveraging technology, drivers gain insight into their driving behavior, can improve it, and receive up to 35% discount on their monthly premium.

To bring that ambition to life, Traksi is developing the Traksi Drivers app step by step. In the first version, drivers could easily link their trips and gain insights into their driving behavior. Together with Cloud++ and partners, the app is continuously being expanded with new features that contribute to road safety and more efficient insurance processes.
A key next step? Filing a damage claim directly through the app.

The Solution

Cloud++ developed a new feature within the Traksi Drivers app that allows drivers and fleet managers to easily register a vehicle, gain insight into driving behavior, and quickly submit a damage claim.

Key components:

  • Drivers can effortlessly create a damage report, including photos, location data, and checklists.
  • The app automatically retrieves relevant data—such as the insurance card—directly from ANVA or RDW.
  • Once a report is submitted, it is securely and instantly forwarded to the back office, without requiring any further action from the driver.

This creates a user-friendly solution for drivers and a more efficient workflow for Traksi’s back-office team.

The Collaboration

Cloud++ developed the mobile app and its architecture, including deployment to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, and delivered it as a test version to enable hassle-free testing.
Traksi defined the functional requirements together with partners including Posthuma & Partners, ANVA, and RDW, and handled coordination.

The collaboration was tightly organized: weekly progress meetings, short communication lines, and extensive use of Figma.

The Result

With the new damage reporting feature, drivers can now submit a claim directly from the app. This results in:

  • Ease of use: no paperwork—just instant reporting with all relevant information.
  • Efficiency: claims arrive automatically, completely, and with up-to-date photos in the back office.
  • Safety & innovation: the app not only improves damage handling but also supports Traksi’s broader goal of encouraging better driving behavior and making insurance smarter.

The first version of the Traksi Drivers app is now live in both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. And this is only the beginning: together with its partners, Traksi and Cloud++ continue to expand the app with features that support both drivers and insured fleet managers.
