Recruitment Process & What to Expect

At Cloud++, we believe a recruitment process should be clear, respectful, and transparent. This guide was created to help you understand what our selection process looks like, what we assess at each stage, and how you can prepare.

Our goal is simple: build teams with strong technical skills, great collaboration, and the mindset to thrive in an international environment.

Where you can find our job openings

All Cloud++ job openings are officially published through Gupy, our recruitment platform. This is where you apply, receive updates, and follow the progress of your application.

Because Gupy distributes our job postings to multiple external channels, you may see the same position listed on different platforms, including:

Cloud++ official channels

In addition to Gupy distribution, we also share openings directly through:

Important: no matter where you found the job opening, the official application and recruitment journey will always happen through Gupy.

Step-by-step: what happens during the process

1) Application

Once you apply, your profile enters our screening line.

What helps a lot in this stage:

an updated CV with picture (PDF)

an updated LinkedIn profile

portfolio / GitHub / case studies (when applicable)

2) CV screening

We review applications to identify candidates aligned with the position.

We typically evaluate:

relevant experience for the role

alignment with the required tech stack

clarity and structure of the CV

real project experience and impact

3) English Assessment (15-minute conversation)

Since we work in projects and an environment that require communication in English, we run a quick English assessment to understand your current level.

This step is done through a ~15-minute conversation in English with our English Teacher.

During the conversation, we evaluate:

listening comprehension

speaking clarity

vocabulary and fluency

ability to communicate in a professional context

CEFR European standard

At the end, your English level is classified according to the CEFR European standard, widely used internationally:

  • A1 / A2 — Basic
  • B1 / B2 — Intermediate
  • C1 / C2 — Advanced

📌 Important: this step is not about perfection, accent, or sounding “native”. However, if your English level is below the minimum expected for the role, it won’t be possible to move forward — because our work environment operates 100% in English.

Minimum English level by seniority

  • Junior: A2
  • Medior: B2
  • Senior: C1

Talent Pool (Talent Database)

If you don’t find an open position that matches your profile, you can still apply through our Talent Pool.

Our Talent Pool works as a candidate database, where we keep profiles for future opportunities. Whenever a new role is about to be published, we start by searching our Talent Pool first to identify potential matches.

This helps us move faster and reach out to candidates who are already aligned with Cloud++ and our roles.

📌 Tip: Keep your profile updated (CV, LinkedIn, portfolio), so we can contact you when a suitable opportunity becomes available.
